Days after they were first snapped together in Byron Bay, estranged couple Madeleine West and Shannon Bennett have been spotted enjoying a passionate kiss – and set tongues wagging again over the status of their 13-year relationship.
Woman’s Day can reveal that the celebrity chef, desperate for reconciliation, begged his free-spirited ex to bring their six children on a make-or-break school holiday trip to the resort town in northern NSW, where he has bought a new home.
The reluctant Playing For Keeps star agreed only if she could bring her mother for support – and the Masterchef star gladly went along with the 38-year-old’s ultimatum.
“Shannon is willing to do whatever it takes to woo her back,” says an insider.
Since then, Shannon, 42, has had the names of his partner and their kids – Phoenix, 13, Hendrix, 10, Xascha, eight, Xanthe, six, and three-year-old twins Xalia and Margaux – inked backwards on his chest as a sign of his love.
