CHER’S HOUSE ARREST NIGHTMARE!

-

Cher is living a nightmare after her majestic Malibu mansion turned into a scene of chaos while she was touring Australia. Police, paramedics and firefighters dramatically raided the songstress’ home on September 27.

It was confirmed that Cher, 72, was not connected to the case in any way. California police arrested Donovan Ruiz, who had been living at the mansion and is reportedly the son of Cher’s assistant.

The 23-year-old, who was allegedly on his way to Australia to join Cher’s tour, now faces a litany of charges including arranging a narcotics deal that led to a fatal overdose in mid-september.

Paramedics were on hand at the house, which the singer previously put on the market for $57 million, in the event the arrest turned violent, but Ruiz was taken into custody without incident.

Cher’s 92-year-old mother Georgia Holt is also a resident at the six-bedroom property, and her 42-year-old son Elijah Blue Allman, an aspiring musician whose father is Cher’s late exhusband Gregg Allman, has also been a semi-permanent guest for the past few years.

At the time of the raid Cher was in Brisbane, kicking off her Here We Go Again tour. She’s in Australia until October 21, before she returns to the US for more concerts.

“Cher has only just started this tour and the last thing she needs is to be worrying about what’s going on back home,” a well-placed source spills to Woman’s Day.

“She has enough on her plate as it is. This whole ordeal has been extremely stressful for her.”
