Sarah Jessica Parker is doing all she can to bury the hatchet with former co-star Kim Cattrall, but insiders say the glamorous actress has an ulterior motive for reconciling – so she can get the Sex And the City franchise back on track. “Sarah’s desperate to be friends with Kim and buttering her up with notes and gifts,” an insider spills to Woman’s Day. “Behind it all is Sarah’s SATC 3 dream. Time’s running out for another movie and if they’re going to do it, they’ve got to do it soon before they’re looking too old.”
It comes after SJP, 53, mourned the loss of 62-year-old Kim from the franchise when a fan suggested that they “replace or write her out” of a third movie.
“Not sure if I can imagine doing another movie without her,” the actress shared.
“Sarah knows it will be hard to make a successful third film without Kim,” our insider says. “Sarah knows Kim’s the one calling the shots and she’s scrambling to make amends, but it seems like it may be too little too late!”
