She’s an adventurer who’s travelled around the globe 10 times over – so when Kensington Palace revealed last week that the Duchess of Sussex will not be joining her husband when he scales the Sydney Harbour Bridge, they all but confirmed there’s a royal baby on the way for the loved-up newlyweds.

And now, as Prince Harry and Meghan touch down in Australia to promote the Invictus Games, Woman’s Day can exclusively disclose that a top team of medics at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Private Hospital will be on call during their visit should pregnant Meghan require any medical attention.

“Senior nurses have been briefed to be prepared for a possible visit from an ‘extremely high-profile patient’ and to treat it w with absolute secrecy,” says an Inv Invictus Games aide.

““Of course, they haven’t been told who it is but it doesn’t take a genius ge to figure it out.”

DOCTORS DO ON ALERT

Woman’s Wo Day understands the palace has also requested pre preferred British obstetricians Gu Guy Thorpe-beeston and Ala Alan Farthing g – who were part of the hand-picked team dedicated to the Duchess of Cambridge when she gave birth to each of her three children, George, Charlotte and Louis – be on call for a long-haul trip.

It’s believed the couple – who are said to have conceived within months of their May 19 nuptials in Windsor – are “taking no chances” with their first child, despite their exhausting and busy whirlwind tour.

“Prince Harry is incredibly protective of Meghan and if she’s carrying yg his child, you can double that level of concern. He’s so excited about this trip but Meghan’s health and safety will be his top priority,” reveals our source.

“As far as everyone u understands, Meghan w was initially meant t to take part in the Sydney Harbour B Bridge climb, so when it was made known that only Harry would walk the arch of one of the world’s most famous landmarks, it was as good as a pregnancy announcement.

“While Harry does the climb, Meghan will possibly pay a private visit to a women’s refuge or children’s hospital instead.”
