Inside their incredible AUSSIE MANSION
The newlyweds’ Sydney digs are fit for a king and queen!
While Australia might not have a castle and moat available for the Duke and Duchess, we do have some breathtakingly beautiful Sydney harbourside mansions that are certainly fit for royalty. And Meghan and Harry will call one of them home on their Invictus Games tour.
The regal lovebirds are thought to be staying in the incredible $40 million Villa Del Mare at Point Piper, which boasts uninterrupted vistas of the harbour and city skyline from almost every window.
The pair can choose to snooze in one of six bedrooms, and spend their downtime in one of several beautifully appointed living rooms after a long day of meeting and greeting excited Aussie fans across the nation’s cities of Sydney, Dubbo and Melbourne this week.
WINE CELLAR & BUTLER
While they won’t have much R&R time, Harry is said to be extremely excited about “getting stuck into the wine cellar” and taking a splash in the infinity pool, while Meghan will be pampered by a private butler.
Villa Del Mare, which has sweeping lawns down to a private beach, is owned by mysterious Chinese-australian businesswoman Lola Wang Li,
who bought the property in 2015 for the jaw-dropping price – though little is known about her background.
It’s expected the three-storey mansion will be “crawling with security” throughout Harry and Meghan’s stay, but it’s believed the guards have been instructed to keep out of sight as much as possible to ensure the royals have a peaceful time.
