Sydney, NSW DATES October 16, 19-21, 26-27
Sydney is the first stop for Harry and Meghan during their debut international tour – all in the name of the Invictus Games from October 20 to 27. Keen to spot them? They’ll be visiting a string of the city’s landmarks, including Taronga Zoo, Bondi Beach and Sydney Harbour Bridge, which the prince will be climbing! As for accommodation, they’re rumoured to be staying at luxurious $40 million Point Piper mansion Villa Del Mare, which has six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a wine cellar. The royals will get the chance to meet plenty of locals in the harbour city, too. They’ll pay a visit to Macarthur Girls High in Parramatta and also take part in “Fluro Friday” – a session where people share their experiences with mental health – on Bondi Beach.
Dubbo, NSW DATE October 17
They’re only in Dubbo for the day, but the royal couple are definitely squeezing in some important meetings. They’lley’ll be spending time with the Royal Flying Doctor Service to celebrate their 90th year of delivering healthcare to Australia’s rural and most remote areas. Harry and Meghan will also show their concern for the severe drought the surrounding area has suffered by meeting with a local farming family, where they’ll work to find ways to cope with drastic environmental changes. We couldn’t love them more if we tried!
Melbourne, Vic DATE October 18
After Prince William and his wife Kate were accused of “snubbing” Victoria during their 2014 trip, Harry and Meghan will make up for it – stopping over in Melbourne, the world’s most livable city. You can catch the pair as they take a stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. They’ll also be catching a tram (how very Melbourne!) down to South Melbourne beach, where they’ll partake in a clean-up with some primary school students. Bless! The pair are reportedly planning to meet with a handful of youth and community groups during their short visit, too. And given they’ll be in Australia’s caffeine capital, we wouldn’t be surprised to see them sipping a coffee – and trying the latest deconstructed latte trend! – in one of the many hipster cafes scattered around the city.
