ROWAN HEALS FAMILY FEUD
Funnyman Rowan Atkinson is believed to have fallen out with his daughter Lily after she changed her last name from Atkinson to her mother Sunetra’s maiden name, Sastry.
But it appears the family feud between the Mr Bean actor and his 23-year-old burlesque dancer daughter is now water under the bridge as Lily was seen joining her famous father at a party for his new film Johnny English
Strikes Again on October 3. Their supposed rift came after Rowan, 63, ended his 24-year marriage to make-up artist Sunetra, 61, with whom he also shares son Benjamin, in 2014.
He then began a relationship with 34-year-old Louise Ford, who he had met the previous year while working on the play Quartermaine’s Terms.
Just a few weeks after his marriage ended, Rowan allegedly moved Louise into his $8.65m home – and they had a baby together late last year.
“The divorce was tough on the whole family and people think this was Lily’s way of supporting her mother. It can’t have been easy to see Rowan move on with a woman not much older than her, but they will always be family,” says a close source.
Although Rowan’s daughter still goes by Lily Sastry, it seems that she is back on good terms with her father.
