Prince Harry is clearly over the moon about becoming a father – and it’s no surprise. The 34-year-old dreamed of becoming a dad for years before meeting Meghan.
“I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young,” he said in 2012.
“I’m waiting to find the right person and someone who’s willing to take on the job.”
After becoming an uncle, it seems Harry’s desire to start a family of his own only grew.
In 2016, the royal did meet the “right person” – Suits star Megan Markle. When they got engaged almost a year ago, he made it clear that kids were around the corner.
“Of course, you know, one step at a time,” he said.
“Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.”
