BECKS: MARRIAGE IS TOUGH

David Beckham has fuelled talk that divorce is on the cards from wife Victoria – by admitting their marriage has been on the rocks.

Woman’s Day recently reported that the couple – who wed in 1999 and have four children together – are rumoured to have been leading separate lives for months.

“When you’ve been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work,’ says David. “It becomes a little more complicated.”

His confession comes after the soccer superstar, 43, was noticeably left out of the cover photo for Victoria’s recent sit-down with Vogue. And while he and Posh, 44, have quashed talk of a split, friends are bracing for the worst.

“This is totally out of character for David,” an insider tells. “Either he and Victoria are managing their announcement by slowly breaking the news to the world, or they’re really struggling and he can’t keep pretending any more.”
