Moments after touching down in Australia, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the wonderful news that the world had been eagerly waiting for: they’re expecting!

And as Prince Harry and his wife Meghan went public with her growing baby bump, they couldn’t have looked happier and more in love.

The proud parents-to-be walked hand-in-hand through the grounds of Sydney’s Admiralty House after sharing the news that a royal bub will be welcomed into the world in the English springtime.

But speculation is rife that this could be a case of double joy. The 37-year-old duchess – who’s already had a 12-week scan – is noticeably large so early into her pregnancy, sparking excited whispers that the royal romantics could be expecting twins! To add to the talk, mum-to-be Meghan, dubbed the Queen of Hugs, stepped off the plane before their official announcement covering her bump with not one but two purple folders, leading to further speculation that two little ones are on the way.

Since arriving, the lovebirds haven’t stopped beaming from ear-to-ear and 34-yearold Harry has been very protective of his wife and her precious cargo. “We genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, whether it’s a boy or a girl,” Harry said.

And the excited couple have already received their first baby gifts – a toy kangaroo and a pair of tiny ugg booties.

Meanwhile, Meghan admitted she can’t wait to be a mum.

“We’re ready!” she told one guest during a reception held at Admiralty House. “What an exciting time. I’ve been so happy.”

Does two binders mean two bubs?
