To celebrate the first anniversary of marriage equality in Australia, this doco looks back on the decades-long journey to create a more equal nation. Portrayed through the reflections of key players in the gay rights movement, including longtime marriage equality activists like Kath & Kim star Magda Szubanski and grassroots campaigner Edie Shepherd, the film explores the struggle and perseverance that propelled us to finally say Yes to marriage equality in November last year.
