The radio co-stars step out with loved ones following Jackie’s marriage breakdown drama
It’s been speculated that their growing friendship may have played a part in the end of her marriage, and co-workers Jackie O and Beau Ryan have now put on loving displays – each with their own family.
Carefree Jackie visited the Double Bay Fair, near her home in Sydney, with her adorable daughter Kitty and her mother by her side on November 4.
The trio were spotted wandering around the market stalls and grabbing a bite to eat. Meanwhile, her KIIS FM co-host Beau was glued to his wife Kara’s side as they did the school run together the next day.
SHOULDER TO LEAN ON
While Jackie and Beau have been pals for years, it was claimed last week their bond had grown stronger in recent months, as Jackie’s 15-year marriage to estranged husband Lee Henderson started crumbling. Beau would regularly step in as Jackie’s co-host when Kyle Sandilands was away.
That revelation came on the back of Jackie’s shock on-air announcement that she and Lee had quietly etly ended their 15-year marriage
three months before, and she had moved out of their family home. “It’s not a decision we took lightly at all,” she told her breakfast show listeners. “We’ve been separated for quite some time now.”
One of the first people to publicly reach out in support was Beau, 33. “Sending you nothing but love,” he commented. He added it’s a “tough time” for the family and “so many people who go through” break-ups, too.
It’s very clear Beau is an important person in Jackie’s life. When the larrikin recently prank-called Jackie, 43, to tell her he was leaving KIIS FM for a rival radio station, she sounded devastated. “What the f**k?” she exclaimed. “You texted me the other week [saying] you didn’t want to work anywhere else.”
Meanwhile, although Jackie’s marriage has crumbled, Beau and Kara just celebrated their sixth wedd wedding anniversary. Beau congratulated his sweetheart, who he met and began dating at 19, on Instagram. “Happy anniversary babe,” he wrote. “Thanks for being the best wife and mum ever. I love you so much.”
It was a sweet tribute to the w woman who stood by him a after he was embroiled in a c cheating scandal in 2015.
