Always one to put on a brave face, Jennifer Aniston has remained stoic through both of her high-profile divorces.
But at a recent dinner with friends, the stunning star broke down in tears after an awkward encounter with her former husband Brad Pitt, who she was recently reunited with and still loves.

Woman’s Day it was all down to the unexpected run-in.
She’s usually not one for drama and tears, but the stress of the last few months have clearly taken a toll on the Friends star. Luckily she was in the company of her besties.
SHOCK MEETING
“Jennifer was in the middle of her meal when she looked up and saw Brad on the other side of the restaurant,” our insider reveals.
“It came as a complete surprise and her mood instantly switched from cool and calm to anxious and upset.
“Instead of going over and greeting him, Jen decided it would be best to make a beeline for the door. She clearly couldn’t face the emotion of seeing Brad so made her excuses and bolted.”
Friends rushed to comfort the Marley & Me actress
and ushered her out of the restaurant, putting a protective arm around her. She was chauffeured back in a limo to her LA mansion, but looked teary-eyed and broken in the back seat.
“It was a tough night for Jen, but she handled it with bravery and dignity,” says our source. “It takes a lot to rattle her like this, for sure.”
Given the pair’s complicated dynamic over the recent months, it’s no surprise the sighting stirred up so much raw emotion for Jen.
It’s no secret the pair – who divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage – have been in regular contact throughout the summer to comfort and support each other through their respective bitter divorces.
RELATIONSHIP ON HOLD
At one stage, they’d even rekindled their romance. However, Brad, 54, is believed to put a lid on things while his acrimonious divorce and custody dispute with Angelina Jolie comes to a conclusion.
“It’s well known among Brad and Jen’s friends that they reconnected and bonded in a big way this year, and at one stage it seemed inevitable they’d reunite for good,” a close confidante says.
“But apparently Brad decided to put that on hold and Jennifer agreed with him that it would be for the best – at least for now – that they kept things purely platonic for the foreseeable future.
“That’s not to say they won’t revisit their situation down the line, but right now they’ve pressed the pause button.
