DRESSED FOR SUCCESS

-

Aussie sisters Anita Guyett and Tashoni Hardy launched Dresses for the Drought earlier this year after discovering several rural schools were cancelling formals because of the tough times. “We put a call out to schools across the country and travelled to towns like Orange, Narromine, Roma, Longreach and Barcaldine to spread the love,” share the sisters (inset), who started the idea off with a Facebook page request for 30 dresses in May. Anita, 32, and Tashoni, 30, who grew up on a cattle farm, have now collected 5000 dresses and 2700 suits. Visit dressesforthe droughtaustralia.com
