The ink on Jennifer Garner’s divorce papers was barely dry before she was debuting her new love – and now Woman’s Day can reveal why!
Ben Affleck’s ex has finally decided to close the door on the past – and she’s already planning to get married again!
Insiders spill that despite months of tricky negotiations to end her 10-year marriage to the 46-year-old Oscar winner, which was finalised earlier this month, Jennifer’s secret romance with hunky burger chain CEO John Miller had been going full steam ahead.
WEDDING PREPARATIONS
Now, Woman’s Day can confirm via several sources that Jen, 46, and John, 40, are so in love, they’ve already chosen a ring, picked a venue and are wrapping up the guest list for their wedding.
“It might seem like a surprise to most people but their closest friends have known how serious they are about each other from day one,” says our insider.
“It’s no coincidence that Jen and John both finalised their
divorces within days of each other,” adds a mutual friend. “They know what they want. They’re in love and want to spend their lives together. Jen wants to be married – a live-in situation won’t work for her. She wants to set a good example for the kids.”
Jen and Ben’s divorce took an agonising two years to finalise – hindered by Ben’s boomerang stints in rehab to treat his booze addiction. Meanwhile, John’s divorce from his estranged wife, violinist Caroline Campbell, went through late last month.
As soon as both marriages were officially done, the pair made their public debut at a play in Los Angeles last week.
John shares two children – 12-year-old son Quest and daughter Violet, 10 – with his ex.
“They’ve met each other’s kids and their ex-spouses seem to approve, so how perfect is that,” reveals a friend. “Jen and John want to get married early next year at her mountain retreat in Big Sky, Montana. It was where they had their first romantic getaway. The ceremony will be small and intimate, with family and a couple of close friends.”
Sources also say they’re planning two honeymoons – one with their children, as Jennifer would never dream of shutting out Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six.
“They want to include their combined kids in their plans,” dishes the friend. “One idea they have is to go to Disney World. The second honeymoon will be just the two of them at a tropical island resort, with their lodgings accessible only by boat.”
Sources say the loved-up couple are hunting for their dream home, too. Jennifer was spotted looking at a traditional house with a white fence in an exclusive area of LA on November 1. She was smiling as she left with a female friend.
“John has given Jen full control when it comes to househunting. Jen knows what she wants. She’s very picky,” our source adds.
