Birthday wishes
Happy 70th birthday Woman’s Day, with many many more years to come! I loved the stories from the past decades to the present – it was so interesting to read about so many brave women. Maureen Buckley, Noble Park, Vic
Congratulations Woman’s Day on achieving a remarkable 70 years in the very competitive world of magazine publishing. This is truly a milestone worth celebrating. I’ve been reading your magazine for many years, and thanks to a lucky find in a secondhand bookshop, I have a couple of old issues from 1968 that remind me not just how much the magazine has changed, but our world. The cover of one issue features a very young Graham Kennedy, and the other, Ethel and Bobby Kennedy. Also congratulations to Fiona Connolly on your 10 years as Editor-in-chief! I’m looking forward to the next “young” chapter in the life of my old friend, Woman’s Day! Judith Caine, Donvale, Vic
