Mariah’s 14kg slimdown

SHE’S LOST 14kg! The curvy pop diva is proud as punch she’s got her body back

Stepping out in a slinky little black dress, songstress Mariah Carey stunned onlookers as she showed off her new slender figure in New York recently.

The 48-year-old’s yoyoing weight has been much talked about over the years but now the star – notorious for her diva ways – is looking healthier than ever! And Woman’s Day can reveal she’s thrilled to have done it all naturally this time around. “It’s taken a total lifestyle change for Mariah to look this good, and she’s thrilled with the results,” an insider close to the singer spills. “She’s feeling confident and sexier than ever – and she swears this time it’s for good. “Before, Mariah would look for a quick fix and visit the surgeon’s office for liposuction. Now, she’s beaten the bulge sensibly – it’s about a healthy routine consisting of exercise and a sustainable food menu that’s prepared by her personal chef.” Mariah’s new ways have seen her lose 14kg in one year. “She meets regularly with her nutritionist, who comes up with tasty recipes and meal plans,” our source tells. “Mariah loves food, but she’s learned to control her emotional eating. She’s even given up her penchant for champagne – she’ll have a glass, but only on special occasions now. “She hasn’t felt so good physically – and mentally – in a long, long time,” adds the insider. “Don’t get me wrong – she’s still a diva, but she’s a happier one!”

They’re the most tender, touching and informal portraits of the future King of England to date – and there’s no mistaking Prince Charles has become a big softie as his years advance!

Cuddling with his newest grandchild, seven-month-old Prince Louis, in the latest snaps from Clarence House to celebrate Charles’ 70th birthday, friends were quick to note that they’ve never seen him look so happy and relaxed.

And, adds an insider, it’s all because of sage advice from his eldest son, 36-year-old William.

“I would like him to have more time with the children... It’s something I’m working more heavily on, put it that way,” Prince William said when asked about his father.

A source confirms, “That comment really struck a chord with Charles. He took a long look at himself and realised William was right. He missed most of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s precious baby years because he was so busy with his own life and royal commitments.”

But with the arrival of Louis – the first of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children to look remarkably like his mum’s side of the family – Charles has changed.

“He’s determined not to make the same mistakes and miss little Louis’ important first milestone moments,” says our royal aide. “He’s learning as he gets older that family is more important than work, and it’s important to strike a balance. He calls William and Kate every day asking about his grandchildren, and visits at least once a week, which Wills says is a huge improvement. They’ve definitely noticed Louis is the apple of Charles’ eye!”
