Our reigning Miss Universe Australia Francesca Hung admits she was “nervous” before seeing her national costume for the first time ahead of the competition. And it’s understandable why she had “very low expectations” for her wattle-inspired gown, given that over the years the likes of Jesinta Franklin and Monika Radulovic have worn some crazy creations, inspired by everything from the Sydney Opera House to Dame Edna Everage! Still, Francesca insists she’s “elated” with her floral frock, saying, “I think my outfit will be one of the most beautiful.”
