ORLANDO & KATY IN PRE-NUP HELL!

-

Aprivate debate over Katy Perry’s fortune is proving to be the major stumbling block from stopping the singer announcing she’s officially engaged to Orlando Bloom.

Woman’s Day can reveal delays in pre-nuptial negotiations to protect the 34-year-old pop diva’s $350 million fortune – and her bruised ego – is driving a rift between the previously blissfully happy couple.

Still stinging from her marriage breakdown to British funnyman Russell Brand, 43, Katy’s said to be enforcing a $2 million cheating fine for her next husband. What’s more, she’s apparently adding a $1 million penalty if he leaves her within the first year of marriage.

A source tells us Orlando – whose net worth is 10 times less at $35 million – is “hurt” and “bewildered” by the songstress’ sudden business-like demeanour and ice-cold clauses.

“Until this point, Orlando and Katy were in an untouchable bubble of happiness,” says the insider.

“But Katy’s sudden aboutface has left a rift between them. While they’re still ironing out their differences, Orly’s hesitant to announce their engagement.”
