The happy dad’s all smiles as his bitter ex melts down

Angelina Jolie is believed to have suffered a dramatic meltdown last weekend following news she’ll be forced to share custody of her six children with her ex, Brad Pitt.

The 43-year-old actress signed a confidential agreement thought to include joint parenting arrangements just days before she was supposed to go to trial against Brad. Sources say the pressure of two years in nasty negotiations has finally got the better of her.

“Ange suffered something of an emotional collapse,” an insider tells Woman’s Day. “There was a lot of angry crying, then a lot of sleeping. It’s as though she was holding herself together by a thread this whole time, and when they finally signed off, she was free to have her meltdown.

“It hasn’t helped that Ange has been basically surviving on black coffee and a few bites of the kids’ food since the split.”

Insiders say the actress’ weight has plummeted to 48kg.

Meanwhile, despite lawyers for both Brad and Angelina refusing to reveal the details of their agreement, the War Machine actor was all smiles when he showed up at a party in LA last week. “He looked happier and more relaxed than ever,” says a guest at the Amazon holiday bash. “He refused to talk about what happened, but it was obvious something had gone in his favour.”

Meanwhile, it’s believed Ange locked herself inside her sprawling mansion in Los Feliz.

The sealed agreement prevented the couple – who were married for two years before their shock September 2016 split sparked the nastiest divorce battle in Hollywood history – from having to stand trial last week.

Insiders say the eldest children, Maddox, 17, and Pax, 15, are deemed old enough to be able to visit their dad of their own free will, while the exes will split time with their younger kids, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
