IS BEN BACK BOOZING?
Ben Affleck enjoyed a father-daughter outing with the eldest of his three children, daughter Violet, 13, to see Cinderella in LA recently – but he sparked concern when he was spotted at the bar next to several bottles of wine that were on display. “Wine is one of Ben’s weaknesses and seeing him close to so much booze is disconcerting,” an insider reveals. “He was seen shoving a bottle of water in his coat pocket and looked gruff as though he hadn’t had a good sleep in days.”
The 46-year-old actor has long struggled with alcohol addiction and spent his third stint in rehab after ex-wife Jennifer Garner, also 46, staged an intervention in August last year.
“This is something he consciously lives with every day but with the help and support of his family and friends he’s vowing to beat it,” explains our insider. “He’s trying to do ‘normal’ things, like taking his 13-year-old daughter to the theatre and spending time in the park with all his kids.
“Still, knowing his history, facing such temptations could be hard to resist.”
