They’ve been sweethearts for so long and now it looks like Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are finally getting married!

The lovebirds dropped a major hint they’ve secretly decided to make their relationship official.

After Bindi opened up about the couple’s time living together, Chandler’s parents made a trip Down Under and visited Australia Zoo, where the 22-year-old’s father Chris shared snapshots of their trip on Instagram.

And there was one photo in particular that set tongues wagging. Fans have been going wild over a gorgeous group shot of the family dressed to the nines, with Bindi wearing red lipstick and an emerald green dress.

“We cleaned up and had a great evening last night!” Chandler’s dad wrote. “Bindi is making this such a memorable trip for us.”

PERFECT OPPORTUNITY

Insiders believe that the photo could have been taken at a secret engagement party.

“Chandler loves living in Australia, but he’s always over the moon when his family comes to visit. Of course he would want his parents there when he pops the question,” a source tells Woman’s Day.

“They’re keeping tight-lipped about this but a lot of people are convinced they were celebrating an engagement. With both of their families together, it was the perfect opportunity.”

The couple started dating in 2013 after Chandler went on a tour of Australia Zoo and then asked Terri Irwin’s permission to stay in touch with her daughter.

Now, Chandler is living on the family’s 40-hectare property and working at the zoo alongside the animal loving family – Bindi, 20, her mother Terri, 54, and her brother Robert, 15.

“I’m lucky I have found The One, the person I want to spend all my time with,” Bindi says. “We’re both lucky to have found that person, because that doesn’t always happen for people and we’re still so young.”

And while Bindi has publicly played down talk of a wedding, reliable sources close to the pair say she’s been longing to become Chandler’s wife for some time.

“Bi “Bindi di has h a vision ii of fh her perfect day and she’s always wanted to get married at Australia Zoo. She’s pictured this moment for years,” our insider spills.

HONOURING STEVE

“No one would be surprised to see her get married in a green dress to reflect her love of nature. Her dad also loved the colour and it goes without saying i she’d h ’d want tt to h honour his memory.”

Bindi’s dad, the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, died in 2006, after being pierced in the heart by a stingray barb while filming a documentary. He was 44 and his beloved daughter was just eight.

“It would be emotional for Bindi to get married without her dad there but she knows he’s always with her,” says the insider.

Whil While the th world ld will ill have h to t wait a little longer to hear Bindi and Chandler’s good news, sources say they’re over the moon. “It makes sense Bindi and Chandler would want to quietly enjoy this time together before they make a big announcement,” adds our insider. “They’re so in love and it’s adorable to watch. Everyone is thrilled for them!”
