Following in her mum’s footsteps

Sh’ he’s only l 10 years old, but Nicole and Keith’s eldest daughter Sunday is already gearing up to steal the limelight from her A-list parents. Nicole has revealed Sunday wants to be a celebrity – and even win her own Emmy Award!

The Aussie actress recently explained after taking home two trophies for Big Little Lies, she decided to give one to their daughters.

“Actually I offered... I won one for producing and one for acting, which was an incredible thing to happen,” says Nicole.

“I was like OK, I can put one on your shelf, Sunday, and one on your shelf, Faith – they’re yours.”

And while Faith, eight, was apparently happy with the gift, ambitious Sunday wasn’t so keen.

“Sunday didn’t want it,” Nicole says. “She was like, ‘I want to earn my own!’ I’m like, ‘You go, girl!’”

And it seems Sunday’s superstar dreams are about to come true as her on-screen debut fast approaches. In October, Nicole let slip that both of her and Keith’s daughters would be featuring in the upcoming season of her hit TV show.

“They were in as extras in Big Little Lies, which I’ve never told anyone,” she said.

Nicole says Sunday fell in love with performing last year after being cast in her school play. The proud parent says her daughter was taking the role seriously, and that “learning lines” was her “main priority”.

“Nicole loves the fact Sunday wants to be just like her when she grows up,” a source tells Woman’s Day.

“But while she’s supportive, she’s not pushy. Nicole and Keith want their kids to enjoy their childhood.”
