Sienna & Rusty Not puppy love – this is bunny love!
They’ve got great on-set chemistry but now the pair are ramping up their relationship off set, too
There’s only one thing Russell Crowe adores almost as much as his kids, and that’s the South Sydney Rabbitohs footy team!
Which is why any potential love match must declare a wholehearted allegiance to his beloved Bunnies – and that’s exactly what British actress Sienna Miller appears to have done last week amid rumours the pair have been getting cosy on the New York set of upcoming TV miniseries The Loudest Voice.
Sienna was snapped off-duty wearing a beanie in the unmistakable green and red colours of the Rabbitohs – and emblazoned with the club logo – as she rugged up against the Manhattan chill while on a day out with her six-year-old daughter Marlowe.

“Sienna is part of a posh, hipster fashion set from London, so to see her wearing an Australian football beanie in such garish colours was a surprise,” spills a source close to the actress. “Russell must have extreme powers of persuasion to convince her to wear something like that!”
Russell has a history of influencing his love interests’ dress sense, particularly when it comes to Rabbitohs gear – as evidenced by the attire of his rumoured love interest Sophia Forrest, 24. The Gladiator star is even said to have kitted out Robert Irwin, 15, in Bunnies clothing when he was rumoured to be involved with Robert’s mum, Terri, 54, the wife of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
“Russ lives and breathes the Bunnies, so anyone he dates has to outwardly support them, too,” reveals a source.
‘She considers herself privileged to be getting to know him’
Well-placed contacts say sparks are flying between Sienna, 37, and her 54-year-old co-star, who have transformed themselves through makeup and prosthetics to play Roger Ailes – a former Fox News boss who was accused of sexual harassment – and his wife Elizabeth.
“It’s not the sexiest set in the world, but Russell still manages to charm women even when he’s in a fat suit
carrying a cane. It really is a talent,” says our insider. “And Sienna is smitten with him. Russell is articulate and experienced, not to mention a legend in the acting world.
“She considers herself privileged to be getting to know him – even if it does mean she has to become a devoted NRL fan and pay attention to Aussie rugby scores now!”
SPITTING IMAGE
Sienna – who with her blonde hair and svelte figure resembles Russell’s ex-wife Danielle Spencer – is also said to be enamoured by the way he treats Marlowe, her daughter from her relationship with British actor Tom Sturridge.
“Russell’s a natural with Marlowe – they’re always larking around on set,” says a source. “He’s got two boys [Tennyson and Charles] with Dani, but you can tell he’d have been great with a daughter.”
Insiders excitedly say they can see things getting serious between Sienna and Russ.
“They’d be great for each other. Despite the age difference between them, Sienna is very mature and dedicated when it comes to her career and work, and focused on being a good mother,” says a source.
“They’re all traits Russell finds attractive in a potential partner and you can tell he’s been longing to settle down with a good woman for a long time.”
