Meanwhile, Lori laughs it off

The other major celebrity to be charged over her involvement in the college bribery scam is Full House star Lori Loughlin.

While Felicity’s hanging her head in shame over the pain she has caused her family, the same can’t be said for Lori.

Despite facing decades behind bars, the 54-year-old seems to be relishing the spotlight and was even seen smiling at fans and signing autographs at her most recent court appearance.

New money laundering and conspiracy charges have been filed against Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, on top of allegedly paying $700,000 to get daughters Isabella, 20, and Olivia, 19, into University of Southern California on the rowing team – despite the fact they don’t know how to row.

Seemingly unfazed by the seriousness of the situation, the star has rejected a plea deal involving any jail time – which, under federal law, would have

been between 18 months and two years on the initial charges. Now, with the new allegations, they face up to 40 years in prison.

Lori, who’s been fired from her role on Fuller House and her regular gig with the Hallmark channel, has been going about her daily routine, including attending yoga classes. Yet sources say while she may be acting like the prospect of jail time is not getting to her, it’s a different story behind closed doors.

“As much as she is doing what she can to keep smiling, she’s secretly breaking down about this,” reveals an insider.

“Lori has got to feel like she has lost everything and she has no idea how – or if – she can bounce back from this.”
