1st round – Miss 3ch, 2tr in next ch, 1tr in each ch to last ch, 5tr in last ch, working along other side of foundation ch, 1tr in each of next 11 (16) ch, 2tr in next ch, sl st in 3rd ch at beg … 32 (42) tr. 2nd round – 3ch, 1tr in same place as sl st, (inc) twice, 1tr in each of next 11 (16) tr (inc) 5 times, 1tr in each of next 11 (16) tr, (inc) twice, sl st in 3rd ch at beg … 42 (52) tr. 3rd round – 3ch, 1tr in each tr to end, sl st in 3rd ch at beg. 4th round – 3ch, 1tr in each of next 14 (19) tr, (dec) 3 times, 1tr in next tr, (dec) 3 times, 1tr in each tr to end, sl st in 3rd ch at beg … 36 (46) sts. 5th round – 3ch, 1tr in each of next 10 (16) tr, (dec) 3 times, 1tr in next tr, (dec) 3 times, 1tr in each tr to end, sl st in 3rd ch at beg … 30 (40) sts. 6th round – 1ch, 1dc in each of next 8 (13) tr, (dec) 3 times, 1tr in next tr, (dec) 3 times, 1dc in each tr to end, sl st in ch at beg … 24 (34) sts. FINISHING

Do not press. Using embroidery thread, embroider crown motif as pictured. Draw up round elastic to fit comfortably around foot and fasten off securely.
