The Voice Kelly’s had it!

The coaching panel is fraught with tension – and Kelly’s finally had enough of Boy George

After two years on The Voice, ’80s pop icon Boy George has made it clear he’s keen to crown a winner, never backing down on his ruthless approach to mentoring the aspiring singers.

However, it appears his jarring tactics could be too much for fellow coach Kelly Rowland, who is said to be crumbling under the pressure and constant drama.

“Filming this season has been exhausting for Kelly,” a source close to the set tells Woman’s Day. “She

loves being a coach, but she’s over having to justify her decisions and opinions to the other judges.”

At the pointy end of last year’s show, the Culture Club star and Kelly, 38, were involved in a series of ongoing fights. At one stage, the former Destiny’s Child singer resorted to calling George the “Queen of England” after he accused her of “arguing with herself”.

But this year, tensions are said to be already at fever pitch, with our insider revealing that Kelly is over George’s constant eye-rolling and general hostility on set.

“During the Blind Auditions, Kelly barely spoke to Boy when the cameras stopped rolling,” the source dishes. “They’re obviously both super professional, but they’re definitely not catching up after work, that’s for sure!”

The source goes on to explain that Kelly has been so put out by the constant drama and on-set bickering that it’s impacting her general mood on the show.

“Kelly is always adamant about giving her all to the contestants and she’s finding it hard to do that with the ongoing stress,” says the insider.

It’s not the first time 57-yearold Boy George has ruffled feathers on set. Earlier this month, the outspoken judge reportedly got into a war of words with new coach Guy Sebastian over a piece of headwear.

“Boy George spotted [the hat] while walking past Guy’s dressing room and told him there was only room for one hat-wearing celebrity on the show,” a set insider revealed.

Fans of the show have also been quick to vent their annoyance at the British singer.

“No thanks, not if Boy George is on,” wrote one fan on Facebook. Another added, “Why can’t you keep it Australian? This show is way too dodgy, it’s been ruined since the judges act like it’s all about them.”
