The happy divorcees are ready to give their love another shot
They say everyone deserves a second chance, but over the years troubled Hollywood star Ben Affleck has had way more than that to save his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner.
The pair seemed the happiest of couples before they shocked fans and announced their separation in 2015, but now, just six months after the exes finalised their long and painful divorce – and after years of speculation that they weren’t ready to let go – sources believe they are rekindling their romance at last!
“Jen and Ben are in a great place right now,” an insider tells Woman’s Day. “A lot of people in their inner circle think there’s a good chance they could work things out as a couple again. Just because they’re no longer married it doesn’t mean it’s out of the question.”

Ben has called it quits with Lindsay Shookus, 38, for a second time. The 46-year-old found love with the Saturday Night Live producer following the end of his marriage. It was the actor’s first serious romance post-jen, but following their first split in 2018, the Triple Frontier actor had a fling with 23-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton.
Now with Ben newly single, it seems 47-year-old Jennifer could be back in the dating game, too. She hasn’t been seen with her Caliburger CEO boyfriend John Miller in more than seven weeks.
“Jen and John were finally comfortable about going public with their romance, but it’s been so long since they were spotted together, rumours are abuzz that all is not well between them,” reveals our insider.
Jennifer will no doubt proceed with caution when it comes to any reconciliation with her former husband after she previously confessed that her heart was left “a little on the tender side” following their separation.
However, after attending rehab, Ben has cleaned up his act and is being a model parent to their three children Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven.

“Jen was the love of Ben’s life and she’s been there for him through everything – even after the break-up,” our source reveals. “Ben has been going the extra mile to show that he’s a devoted dad. It seems like he is finally realising that he had a good thing with Jen but let it slip away.
“Ben would take Jen back in a heartbeat. It’s up to her whether she’d be willing to go down that road again. It’s taken a lot for Jen to get over Ben and move on. But at the end of the day, he’s a big part of her past, present and who knows, maybe her future, too.”
