Julia’s pooch Reuben rules!
AMANDA SAYS Julia Gillard’s dog Reuben was so determined to come through I really had no choice! He tells me he once escaped from the “big house” and was caught just before he took a tour of the suburbs. Not even the former prime minister can tell him what to do! I can only imagine what he’d get up to during the day or when his mum was away – he shows me he liked to investigate and snoop. He says when Julia’s away he waits patiently for her return even if it’s some time. He loves most people and when his mum was PM he’d sometimes go to work with her and be doted on by her colleagues. Reuben doesn’t divulge many secrets about his mum, but what he does say about her is when she was PM she never changed. She wants nothing but the best for everyone.
