Hiding behind sunglasses and nervously checking her phone, Jennifer Garner tried to go incognito as she snuck out of Bradley Cooper’s house in Los Angeles on July 12.
But sources tell Woman’s Day there’s no hiding the fact the pair get on like a house on fire, and now rumours are this secret date could be just the first of many.
“No one would be surprised if they’re finally taking their friendship to the next level,” one insider reveals. “The timing couldn’t be more perfect for them to make a real go of things once and for all.”
The pair have been friends for years after co-starring on Alias in 2001. They’ve leaned on each other through divorces – Bradley, 44, had an ill-fated marriage to Jennifer Esposito, and Jennifer, 47, split from ex-husband Ben Affleck – and most recently Brad broke up with Irina Shayk, 33, the mother of his daughter Lea.
So has Bradley’s heartache brought them closer together?
“In times of trouble they always seek the other out, but perhaps they’ve realised that what they’re looking for could be standing g right in front of them. .
“They’re actually perfect for one another,” another friend tells.
One person who may not be happy with Bradley’s relationship with Jen is his rumoured flame Lady Gaga, 33.
“She’s not blind
– she can see how well-suited they are and has said from the first time she saw them together that there’s more than friendship there. She’ll be crushed if Brad ends things with her and moves on with Jen, but I doubt she’d be surprised.”
