Yes! Charlene’s PREGNANT!

The Monaco royals get ready to welcome baby number three

For weeks whispers have been swirling about Princess Charlene’s disappearance from royal life after she was noticeably absent from a series of public engagements – and even missed a family holiday with her husband, Prince Albert, and their children.

Her unusual no-show reignited rumours of trouble in their famously tumultuous marriage, but now Woman’s Day can reveal the happy reason behind her mysterious absence – Charlene is reportedly expecting a baby and the royal couple are overjoyed!

The last time the stunning South African was seen was on September 6. She was glowing as she stepped out with Albert and their five-year-old twins Gabriella and Jacques, hiding what we now know to be a baby bump in a loose-fitting dress and behind a well-placed bouquet.

Sources say that since then, Albert, 61, has insisted she put her feet up, and even encouraged her to take a break at their ranch in the French hills.

“Charlene is about four months pregnant but, at 41 years old, it’s been a rough ride so far,” a palace insider tells. “She had twins last time, so who knows what’s in store this time. She’s so determined nothing should go wrong with this pregnancy that she’s following her doctor’s orders of total bed rest. She wants to get past the first few fragile months before making any official announcement.”

The royals might need to brief the princess’ mother, Lynette Wittstock, though, as she almost gave the game away. She recently revealed Charlene “had always dreamed of having five children” and it was “out of the question that she would give up on her ideal family”. Perhaps there’s more than one baby on the way!
