JEN’S AT-HOME REHAB FOR BEN
George, Charlotte and Louis are thrilled to be welcoming a sister!
It’s Jennifer Garner to the rescue after she reportedly ordered troubled ex Ben Affleck to move back into the family estate where she can keep a close eye on him.
Against the advice of all her friends and family, Jen’s playing “mum” with Ben, 47, and wants to help get him back on the straight and narrow.
The Batman actor, who was in rehab in August last year, had a booze relapse at an event in West Hollywood recently and was spotted sheepishly entering Jen’s property the next day.
The couple, who have three kids, Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Sam, seven, finalised their divorce in October – three years after they split. However, friends say Jen, 47, has always been there for Ben.
“She’s his anchor in so many ways,” says a friend. “She wants him to stay in the guest house with a sobriety coach. She’s the only one who can get through to him.”
As Ben said earlier this year, “When somebody’s the mother of your kids, they’re going to be the most important central person in your life and that’s good.”
After a difficult year filled with one headline-hitting drama after the next, it looks like this Christmas is set to be a special one for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have some very big news to share – they’re expecting baby number four!
The exciting news comes after a glowing Kate was spotted sneaking into a London hospital with William for what palace insiders are buzzing was a “pre-announcement check-up”.
FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The 37-year-old mum to George, six, Charlotte, four, and Louis, 18 months, has remained quiet on the baby rumours, which went into a frenzy after William, also 37, reportedly made a secret trip to inform the Queen of their news last week.
“It’s all anyone can talk about – and what a relief after the
nightmare year the royal family has had,” one royal insider tells Woman’s Day exclusively. “The household is on standby for a formal announcement, but in the meantime all eyes are on Kate. As usual, she has lost a little weight in the early weeks, but so far it’s been a breeze compared to her first three pregnancies. Her appetite’s still there and she’s able to keep up her royal duties, too.”
“William is just beside himself,” our palace source adds. “He’s so proud of his family and what Kate’s given him. He’s fussing over her as usual, but it’s so nice to see him soften. He’s been so wound up over his feud with Harry – this new baby couldn’t have come at a better time.”
While Kate and Wills are delighted, no one is more excited than George and Charlotte, who simply cannot wait to have another little sibling to carry around the palace. And whispers out of Kensington Palace are that Kate and Wills have already told Charlotte some special news – she’s getting a little sister!
“To have two boys and two girls would be a dream come true for Kate,” another palace insider tells. “This really is the most exciting time ever for her and Wills.
“William is so proud of Kate and they can hardly wait to tell the world their big news. Kate’s always dreamed of emulating the Queen and having four babies, no matter how tough her pregnancies got. They’ve faced a lot together and are closer than ever – this baby will make their family complete.”
