MARIAH SLAMS TAYLOR: I’M THE QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS!
Mariah Carey is NOT amused by Taylor Swift’s recent attempt at a Christmas mega-hit. According to a long-time friend, the All I Want For Christmas Is You legend, 49, was “horrified” when she heard Taylor was trying to steal her Christmas hit from the top spot and promptly banned the song from her staff’s playlist!
Taylor, 30, dropped her song Christmas Tree Farm last weekend, alongside a video featuring cute home movies of Taytay as a kid, prompting alarm bells to go off at Camp Carey.
“If anyone out there has the star power to bring out an even bigger Christmas song than Mariah’s it’s probably Taylor Swift, so Mariah was not happy about it,” says the friend.
“Mariah’s always been supportive of her, a fan even, so this was a bit of an upset.”
We think it’s safe to say Taylor is no longer on Mariah’s Christmas card list!
