The pair are going all out to make this the best holiday season ever
Brad Pitt is getting the greatest Christmas present of all this year – spending the holiday season with his children and his first ex-wife-turned-new love Jennifer Aniston!
After a lengthy and bitter battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, Brad, who turns 56 this week, is buzzing that he’s finally able to spend the festive period with his children Pax, 16, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
“Brad’s over the moon to have the kids for Christmas. To have both Jen and the kids by his side is something he’s been dreaming of for such a long time,” tells our source, who adds the only sad part of it is eldest son Maddox, 18, who has moved to South Korea for university, won’t be joining them.
“Jen was instrumental in helping Brad win the custody fight – writing a heartfelt character statement to the judge that detailed the incredible bond he has with each child and
recalling emotionally charged instances where she’s seen him put his own wellbeing at risk and sacrifice his happiness for the sake of his kids.
“She also wrote about watching Brad overhaul his life and his path to sobriety, as she opened up about how he’s a changed man to the one she married almost 20 years ago, and how inspiring and admirable it’s been watching his new journey.”

Brad is now telling friends he’s determined to make this the best Christmas ever after spending so much time apart from the kids since his acrimonious split from Ange, 44.
“Brad and Jen are going all-out to make this Christmas their best yet, and have loads of surprises organised for the kids,” says our insider.
“Jen’s been busily decorating Brad’s Loz Feliz house with the most stunning display to make it feel as warm and homely as possible.
She’s drawing on details that Brad says the kids love most and little touches he knows they’d appreciate, like having their personalised baubles on the tree. Jen knows that as much as the kids will love being with their dad, they’re also going to miss their mum, so she wants to go that extra mile.”
ANGELINA’S FURY
One person who won’t be receiving an invite for their special turkey dinner is Brad’s ex-wife. “Ange is absolutely furious and is still desperately trying to have the judge’s decision overturned,” says our insider.
“The thought of the kids playing happy families with Brad and Jen over Christmas while she’s alone is her worst nightmare.”
