He might call LA home for now, but Aussie chef Curtis Stone always makes sure he includes homegrown traditions during the festive season. And when it comes to entertaining, it’s the best of both worlds for Curtis and his wife, US actress Lindsay Price, and their sons Hudson, eight, and Emerson, five.

“We love a traditional Christmas with all the trimmings – mince pies, Christmas pudding and trifle, so it’s a bit of an Aussie-american mash up,” explains the Coles ambassador.

With Christmas carols a non-negotiable, it’s a winning approach for any family who might want to mix different cultures.

“We alternate with Australia and America,” ” says Curtis. “This makes for really different seasonal Christmases, however our families are quite similar and we are all really close, so the traditions are pretty similar.”
