AGT’S JJ PANTANO ‘FINALLY I GET TO ROAST SIMON COWELL’

One of the world’s youngest comedians is about to take the US by storm… and he’s set to do Australia proud all over again!

JJ Pantano, the pint-sized seven-year-old who stole our hearts last year on

Australia’s Got Talent with his hilarious routine, which also earned him the famous Golden Buzzer, will perform in front of iconic judge Simon Cowell after being picked for America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

While we all remember JJ’S surprised face when Aussie judge Shane Jacobson pressed the Golden Buzzer following his witty dialogue where nobody was safe from his trademark roasting, one can only imagine what will happen when he unleashes his clever joke telling on the other side of the world.

JJ reveals he got the invitation to compete on

America’s Got Talent: The Champions just 10 days after his semi-final performanc­e aired in Australia.

“It was a dream come true when I got that call. Actually,

I thought it was all a dream I’d wake up from! I couldn’t stop jumping on my bed from the excitement,” says JJ.

With his Australian performanc­e going viral in the first 24 hours, amassing more than 1 million hits on Youtube and more than 35 million hits on social media to date, JJ’S US appearance is sure to bump up his global profile.

The youngster says he just loves the joy his comedy brings those who watch him.

“Making people laugh is my happy place!” says JJ, who even as a youngster recognises that life can be too serious. He also acknowledg­es that “every comedian” wants the buzz they get from eliciting laughter in others.

“For me, this is especially true! I love it!” he says.

“Finally I get to roast Simon Cowell, which I’ve always wanted to do.”
