COURT’S TEARS FOR MATTHEW
Courteney Cox has struggled to hold back the tears when asked about her former co-star and best friend Matthew Perry.
The actress, 55, was doing a Facebook interview with her daughter Coco, 15, when she asked her what word came to mind when she heard the name of her onscreen squeeze Chandler Bing.
A flustered Courteney replied “Oh, gosh,” before moving on.
Friends say Courteney has been a huge support to Matthew, 50, during his years battling drug addiction, which included stints in rehab.
“The question hit a little too close to home for Courteney,” reveals an insider. “She loves
Matthew, but his struggles have taken a toll on her.”
Matthew recently appeared in public looking dishevelled and tired, sparking fears from family and fans. Coupled with his split from girlfriend Molly Hurwitz, 29, it’s no wonder friends say Courteney is “terribly concerned about him”.
