PORK & GREEN BEAN STIR-FRY
SERVES 4-6 PREP 15 MINS COOK 10 MINS
◆ 1 tbsp vegetable oil
◆ 500g pork mince
◆ 200g green beans, trimmed, halved
◆ 2 green onions, sliced
◆ 2 garlic cloves, crushed
◆ 2 tbsp kecap manis
◆ 1 tbsp soy sauce
◆ 1 tsp sesame oil
◆ 2 cups wombok, shredded
◆ 1 lime, juice, plus extra wedges to serve (optional)
◆ 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
◆ steamed rice, to serve (see tip)
1 In a wok, heat oil on high. Stir-fry mince
4-5 mins, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, until well browned.
2 Add beans, white ends of onions and garlic. Stir-fry 1-2 mins until beans are tender-crisp.
3 Stir combined kecap manis, soy and sesame oil through. Bring to simmer. Toss wombok and juice through, stir-fry 1 min.
4 Sprinkle with remaining green onion and seeds. Serve with rice and extra lime wedges, if liked.
Add a squeeze of lime juice for zing.
If you like spicy food, add dried chilli flakes or a chopped fresh chilli in step 2.
