Harry & Meghan to pay the Queen rent!
The 94-year-old Queen has graciously given her grandson Harry 11 years to repay around $4.5 million in debt owed to the British taxpayer after the prince and Meghan renovated Frogmore Cottage before abandoning the UK. The couple has also been asked to pay a market rate rent on the cottage, which will allow them to use it as a base when they visit England – meaning they’re paying $34,000 a month on a house that sits empty. The Queen allowed them to move into Frogmore as their marital home after they refused to take an apartment at Kensington Palace.
