Adoption awareness has never been more timely, with so many people looking for company in quarantine! Why should people pick adoption as a first preference?

Some people may be craving company during quarantine but unless getting a dog was already in their plans, now may not be the ideal time! Our lives will get back to some form of normal and

charities like Wood Green are worried we’ll see an increase in the number of unwanted pets once our old routines are back in place. However, if someone was already looking at getting a dog, rehoming centres often have adult dogs that ha have had some pri prior training and an assessment that sta states what kind of ho home they require.

As we spend more tim time at home, ho how can we avoid sp spoiling our dogs?

Most M dogs thrive in a predictable environment, en so keep to a routine during lockdown, lo such as waking w up, going for a walk and going to bed b at a similar time. It’s It tempting to give dogsd extra treats, butb care should be takent to ensure they t don’t gain too much m weight.
