MILEY CASHES IN ON ANOTHER BREAK-UP
She’s known for pouring her heart into her songs, but Miley Cyrus’ penchant for breaking up with her lovers just before releasing a new song has left her most recent ex Cody Simpson fuming!
Miley, 27, recently released her single Midnight Sky just hours after it was announced she had split from Cody, 23 – and the lyrics, such as “I don’t need to be loved by you”, seem decidedly pointed.
“Cody is pretty damn angry,” a source tells Woman’s Day. “He feels like the whole thing was a walking, talking, singing publicity stunt. He got a career boost out of it, too, but he thought what he and Miley had was more than just an album promo opportunity.”
While Cody has been left blindsided, a long-time friend of Miley’s says she has always treated everyone around her as “material” for her art. “She kind of ‘hoovers’ people up,” says the insider.
Miley released her hit single Slide Away just days after it was announced her ex Liam Hemsworth, 30, filed for divorce in August last year.
