Inside Miranda’s $ 150m superyacht!

The Aussie model is taking to the seas

Miranda Kerr and her billionaire husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, aren’t about to let a pesky pandemic or the looming threat of an economic crisis get in the way of their lavish life!

Woman’s Day has learned the power couple, worth a staggering $6.24 billion, have just bought Australian financial magnate John Symond’s superyacht. The 73-metre long luxury motor cruiser, named Hasna, was put up for sale a year ago at an asking price of $160 million, with John, best known as the founder of Aussie Home Loans, intending to upgrade to something even bigger. Despite John initially struggling to sell the pricey craft, Miranda, 37, and Evan, 30, are said to have taken a liking to the decadent vessel and scooped it for $150 million earlier this month.

Insiders tell Woman’s Day that when it comes to money, nothing is off limits for Miranda, who shares sons Hart, two, and Myels, 10 months, with Evan.

MONEY TO BURN

“She loves the absolute finest things in life and has made no secret of the fact that she will bag the richest men to get them,” reveals a close insider.

“Evan is the simplest guy you’d ever meet so he has plenty of money to burn, and allows her free rein to splurge on whatever takes her fancy,” adds the source, who reveals the former Victoria’s Secret model has enjoyed filling their LA home with rare art, high-end decor, couture clothing and exquisite jewellery.

“Their friends often joke that the only part of that home that’s representative of Evan is a large cupboard full of polo tops, jeans and sneakers!”

Miranda’s love for yachts stems back to her whirlwind romance with James Packer and fling with Malaysian businessman Jho Low.

“Miranda has loved yachts ever since she was introduced to the sailing life by her exes James and Jho. It’s been her dream to own one ever since, and she’s been doing major puppy dog eyes at Evan to buy her one,” another friend tells.

Miranda’s extravagant life is a far cry from her humble upbringing in Gunnedah, a small town in north-eastern NSW and our source says Evan is always happy to please.

“I don’t know why she bothers with the cute pleading act though, because he hasn’t said no to her yet!”
