GEORGIA LOVE GETS DUMPED!

The sad prince admits leaving his family was a mistake

-

Aft fter h having i t to continuously delay her wedding to fiance Lee Elliott due to COVID-19, Georgia Love has been hit with yet another harsh blow.

The 32-year-old reality starlet was unceremoniously dumped from her “dream job” as a freelance reporter for Ten, with a source revealing that a companywide email was sent around detailing that Georgia “no longer works here”.

“Nothing was really said about it... one day a memo just went around,” the insider adds.

A network spokesperson soon confirmed the axing, saying, “As with any casual position, the availability of works ebbs and flows with the requirements of the company”.

It comes after Georgia was spotted looking glum with Lee, 39, during a getaway to Noosa,

Queensland Q l d recently. tl

The reality star has been upfront about her disappointment over her wedding day hurdles, first having to give up her dream nuptials in Italy and then having to delay their alternative wedding plans in Tasmania when border restrictions were put in place.

Georgia said late last year they had set a new date for 2021 and “are forging ahead hoping it is going to happenpp as we want it to”.

It’s been almost a year since Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan packed their bags and headed south across the Canadian border in the dead of night, making the clandestine journey to Los Angeles on board a private jet borrowed from movie mogul Tyler Perry.

And only now, as the dust begins to settle on their new life in a Santa Barbara mansion, Harry, 36, is realising what a grand mistake his impetuous decision to leave the royal family – effectively estranging himself from them – at his new wife’s behest really was.

In recent weeks, a wave of reports have alleged Harry is feeling “lonely and isolated” in the US, particularly as members of his own family have metaphorically slammed palace doors in his face as controversy over their post-megxit behaviour rages on.

CROSSROADS

A recent interview given by Harry’s close friend, British reporter Tom Bradby, confirms Woman’s Day’s sources alleging that Harry is “at a real crossroads” in his life. “I think he is heartbroken by the situation with his family,” says Tom. “[It] clearly isn’t ideal and has been very difficult for them all. But are they unhappy out there [in California]? No, I don’t think that’s right... but I think they wrestle with their position in life. I think they all do.

“I think the whole thing has been incredibly painful... difficult to manage. Effectively, they have just decided to completely leave the royal family, that has never been done... voluntarily before and no one still is absolutely certain how that is going to work.”

An LA source close to the Sussexes tells Woman’s Day, “California has been in an extended, harsh lockdown, so Prince Harry has had a lot of time to think and reflect, and he’s sickened to realise a lot of it is not pretty and a lot of his family’s fury is indeed thanks to his hot-tempered, stubborn ways.

It didn’t need to be this way but there was so much going on at the time that he failed to see the long-term impact turning his back on his family would have.”

And the MountbattenWindsors’ quiet fury at Harry and Meghan, 39, has become all too apparent by their recent decision to cancel the one-year review of how the Sussexes are handling their departure from the monarchy.

“Things are just too tense between Prince William and his brother right now, and it was agreed that no good would come of a face-to-face meeting, especially with Meghan, who William holds personally responsible for the alienation of his brother,” says a source.

“That decision really rocked Harry, because until recently, he was always so sure he would always be welcomed back.”

‘He misses his old life – and his brother – terribly’

Now, Harry faces an uncertain future as he struggles to find his feet in his wife’s Hollywood world, with friends believing it’s only a matter of time before the prince finally admits his mistakes.

“He’s a fish out of water. He’s used to regimented life, be it in the palace or the military, where he knows exactly what’s expected of him,” says a source.

“He doesn’t understand the intricacies of the Hollywood world, and is nowhere near as comfortable hustling in this environment as his wife is. A large part of him misses his old life – and his brother – terribly.”
