The single exes are spending a lot of intimate time together
Just weeks after Woman’s Day revealed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez – It couple of the early 2000s – were back in touch following both of their high-profile relationship splits, we’ve learnt the former pair are enjoying secret sleepovers.
Ben, 48, was last week seen by photographers as he was sneaking back to his Pacific Palisades home in LA using J.lo’s distinctive white SUV, with insiders telling us he’s been “staying at her place in Bel Air a few times a week”.
Indeed, the images show Gone Girl star Ben returning to his own pad clutching a backpack stuffed with his belongings following a possible overnight stay with the singer.
“Ben and Jen have always remained friends, but now they’re both single again and a lot more mature than they were the first time around, and things are going really well,” says a source. “It’s only been going on a few weeks, but things are proceeding at speed. He spends so much time over there he’ll be moving in with her very soon.”
BENNIFER’S BACK!
Their reunion – which has pop culture fans around the world celebrating – comes after Ben split from actress Ana de Armas, and Jen, 51, broke off her engagement to baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
As Woman’s Day reported three weeks ago, Ben and Jen, who were nicknamed Bennifer when they were engaged in 2002, got back in touch almost immediately after her split.
We understand they plan to keep their relationship low-key this time around – with the pair playing it purely professional while both at the Vax Live concert in LA last week.
“They’re older and they’re parents now – things that seemed so important back then don’t matter any more,” says a source. “Neither of them wants to turn their romance into another circus, knowing all too well how it can tear everything apart. They don’t want to make any big announcements – this is a private thing that they’re taking very seriously.”

hers to Marc Anthony – but that it’s “on the cards”.
“They’re enjoying their alone time for now – in fact, they’re thinking of going on a vacation soon to properly reconnect away from prying eyes, now they’ve been snapped by photographers,” says a source. “If all goes well, they’ll get the kids together soon. It’s inevitable given he’s spending so much time at her house.”
An insider says Ben and Jen are “insanely happy together” after their public break-ups. “Ben in particular has had a rough time in his relationships in recent years, and to get sober and then get a second chance with Jennifer feels like a miracle,” says a source.
“She’s always been his ‘one that got away’ because they couldn’t handle the pressure of the spotlight back then, so to have another opportunity to be together feels like fate. He’s determined not to waste it – J.LO is being treated like a queen.
“Ben’s friends can see a huge change in him since he hooked back up with J.LO. Even his ex-wife Jen is all for it. She of all people knows exactly how much she has always meant to Ben.”
