Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead, this emotional drama follows Cora Randall (Thuso Mbedu), who escapes a Georgia plantation to begin a sometimes harrowing journey in search of the rumoured Underground Railroad, a secret network of tracks and tunnels running beneath Southern soil, which may ultimately lead to her freedom. And freedom will be no easy feat – Cora is being pursued by bounty hunter Ridgeway (Aussie Joel Edgerton) who will stop at nothing to catch her and bring her back to the plantation.
