The couple are facing a major hurdle when it comes to their marriage
Almost three years in, Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic’s marriage is starting to show cracks, according to a source close to the pair, who reveals that the current extended NSW lockdown is putting the usually social couple’s relationship to the ultimate test.
Our insider tells Woman’s Day, “Their relationship has been one party after the next, but now things have slowed down, and COVID-19 has put a hold on a lot of events, Jasmine is telling her closest friends she’s feeling stuck at home while her husband heads off to work at the crack of dawn five days a week.
‘The couple are doing less together these days’
““She loves being at home with [their one-year-old daughter] Harper, but to switch on the TV to see Karl having a good old time on Today... it’s hard for her, and she’s made those feelings clear to him.”
And even when the couple do find themselves home together, our insider says they’re often doing separate things. “Karl and Jasmine are doing less together these days. Karl likes to get out of the house, so is often playing golf with his eldest son, or tennis with his eldest daughter and when he’s home, he prefers to watch a movie and get an early night,” our source explains.
“On the other hand, Jasmine was used to a busy social life PRE-COVID, having heaps of mates over – sometimes seven nights a week – so she’s really had a gutful of this current situation,” the source adds.
FLIRTING WITH TROUBLE
To make matters worse, the insider says Karl’s housebound
wife has also grown tired of waking up in the mornings, only to see him openly flirt with entertainment reporter Brooke Boney on TV!

“Jasmine’s been bothered by Karl’s blatant flirting with Brooke. He’s really revved up the charm over these past few months.
“They both like a good old laugh. There’s a real spark between them – Karl loves a sassy, independent woman,” says our insider.
