JIMMY & BROOKE ‘CALLING THE SHOTS’ ON BACHIE!
While a producer’s influence is usually behind the juicy drama we see play out on reality TV, Woman’s Day hears that this year’s Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson, 32, and Bachelorette Brooke Blurton, 26, are the ones calling all the shots!
“Jimmy and Brooke have laid down the law this year – they know what they want and they’ve seen what previous storylines can do to past contestants, and they’re not going down that same path,” says our well-placed insider.
“These two have made it pretty clear what their standards are and they won’t be persuaded by producers.
“I wouldn’t call them brattish – they simply have their expectations.”
Dubbed the “prince and princess” by the crew, the source says their demands range from everything to do with wardrobe to shooting hours to casting.
“Brooke knows what clothing style suits her and won’t budge, and the same goes for putting her foot down with long hours of filming,” says our spy.
“With Jimmy, he is a man of his word and he expects the same from producers. He won’t be persuaded into things that aren’t on the schedule.”
The insider adds that the duo are able to get away with being so strong-willed because they’re not swayed by the producer’s promises of further reality spin-offs and Instagram official ticks.
“Producers have had the previous Bachelor contestants in their pockets because they’ve all been chasing fame,” says our source.
“This isn’t the case with
Jimmy and
Brooke. They’re in it for love and they have nothing to lose.”
