How did he explain this one to Eugenie?
When Jack kb Brooksbank kb got home from his “work trip” to Italy last week, he had an awful lot of explaining to do after being busted frolicking on a vintage yacht in Capri with a gaggle of stunning women.
Sources tell Woman’s Day that his wife Princess Eugenie, 31, is “extremely angry” that her husband of almost three years would get himself into such a compromising position, even if the Casamigos brand ambassador is desperately trying to explain to the York family that “it was all innocent fun with a few colleagues”.
Those colleagues included his Casamigos workmate, global director Rachel Zalis, and df fashion hi ambassador and model Maria Buccellati. Former model Erica Pelosini was also on the yacht, and was topless as she chatted with Jack.
“Eugenie was devastated when those pictures of him with some bathing beauties were splashed all over the papers,” says a source. “She knew when she met him that he was a terrible flirt, and given he worked in nightclubs and as a tequila ambassador, it was no surprise. But she made it clear when they got married that, as a member of the royal family, he would be expected to behave with a certain decorum.”
Making matters worse for the princess is the fact that she was left at home holding their five-month-old fi ld son August. “Eugenie says Jack’s behaviour has set an awful precedent for their son,” says an insider. “She’s mightily ticked off and the word ‘divorce’ has been thrown around at the height of her rage.”
After the scandal broke, Erica issued an apology to Eugenie and admitted it “wasn’t appropriate for me to be topless”.
“I know it does not look right for Jack and his family, I felt very bad for them when I saw the images... I’m very sorry if I caused any embarrassment,” said Erica.
Meanwhile, Eugenie’s mum Sarah Ferguson has defended her 35-year-old son-in-law, saying, he is a “man of integrity” and was “just doing his job”.
