MEGHAN’S LOW-KEY 40TH BIRTHDAY

It was a very happy birthday last week for the Duchess of Sussex, who marked her 40th milestone with a triumphant appearance – and a few well-known friends.

In a video posted to her Archewell website, Meghan shared a Zoom chat with Bridesmaids star Melissa Mccarthy, who suggested they celebrate the duchess’ special day with tea, a yacht party, or even a reunion of Suits – the show that made her famous.

Instead, Meghan – cheered on by Prince Harry, who was spotted juggling outside the window of her stylish home office, and her sleepy beagle Guy – opted to launch a new initiative to mark her special day.

The “40x40” plan is for women to offer 40 minutes of mentoring to other women who have found themselves out of the workforce amid COVID-19 struggles. “If we all commit 40 minutes of some kind of active service, it’ll have a ripple effect,” she said.

Other celebs to lend support include Adele, Hillary Clinton, and Harry’s cousin Eugenie.
