Nathan Harvey
The former TV star says he feels better now than he ever has, “I’m a little chubbier and salt and pepper grey, but I’m super happy at the moment,” he says. “And happiness has always been my number one priority.” The past couple of years have given Nathan a lot of joy, especially after some big changes in his life. “COVID has massively changed my life. I was stood down from towing and dispatching aircraft at Sydney Airport so I decided to move out of the city,” he says.
“I’m now in a little cottage in the forest near a beach, I’ve been signed to a small but reputable label for my music and I’m doing disability/ community access support work to pay the bills.”
On his music, which he only began to pursue at the age of 45, he says, “I’m thrilled to have finally found my passion, albeit a little late in life.”
When it comes to fitness, Nathan surfs and paddleboards but adds, “Now I’m getting right into building stuff and landscaping around the house, which keeps me on the go.”
And when asked about how he thought he’d feel at 50, he laughs. “It’s a common misconception among younger people that just because you’re older you’re completely different to them, but I don’t feel much different to how I did when I was in my 20s and 30s.”
